Richard is a Chartered Accountant who joined the Skipton Group in 1993 as Head of Finance of Homeloan Management and in 1996, following the acquisition by Skipton, he was appointed Finance Director of Connells. In 2002 he was appointed to the Skipton Board and served as Group Finance Director until 2014.

In 2014 Richard re-joined Connells Group as Group Finance and Commercial Director where he has responsibility for Group and subsidiary finance, acquisitions and development initiatives as well as all head office support functions. He has a thorough knowledge of the Group from his many years of involvement.
